    For Benedict, wrestling has always been in his blood. Born to Lucas & Gloria Halloway, an accomplished duo still looked at as innovators in both tag-team and intergender wrestling, Benedict hadn't been around them for much of his early life, considering he was much too young to be carted around show to show. As he grew older, even with them not being around, he saw them often on television and yearned to be with them and get into the ring.
    It wasn't until he was about 12 that his parents started taking him around with them, giving him a front row seat and an occasional look behind the curtain which only fueled his want to follow in their footsteps.
